How can my school get involved with Muse Machine?
If your school is interested in becoming a Muse Machine member school, your school principal should contact Muse Machine at (937) 222-6873. If you are a student or parent who would like to get your school on board with Muse Machine, try starting a petition and talking to interested teachers or your principal.
Depending on whether your school is an elementary or secondary school determines the type of Muse Machine programs and activities that your school could participate in. To learn more about our elementary and secondary programs, click here.
As a student, what is the fee to join Muse Machine?
Muse Machine membership is open to students in grades 7-12 and is just $13. However, you should check with your school’s Muse Advisor in case there are additional fees your school requires for Muse Machine members. Since Muse Machine offers out-of-school tickets to professional performances, workshops, and other activities, some schools may include the cost of tickets and admission in your Muse fee. Talk to your advisor and complete the necessary registration form to join!
What type of activities does Muse Machine offer ?
For students, Muse Machine offers activities throughout the year – workshops, out-of-school performances, in-school performances, road trips, the summer concert and winter musical. Check out our student section on the website for more information.
Muse Machine also offers programs and activities for teachers. Through our Offsite Learning Experiences (OLE!), Advanced Teacher Training, Summer Workshop, and Advisor Meetings, there is much for teachers to take advantage of!
How do I know what’s going on at Muse Machine?
The best way to find out what’s going on at Muse Machine is to check our online calendar. On the calendar we list both elementary residencies and secondary in-school performances. We also include any workshops we offer for both teachers and students as well as our annual productions. We also keep our homepage up-to-date through our new section titled “latest posts.”
